Scottish First Home Fund Returns

We're pleased to announce the Scottish First Home Fund is returning tomorrow, 1 April 2021.

The reintroduction of the scheme comes at an ideal time. Although demand remains strong, some first time buyers have struggled to get a foot on the property ladder in recent months due to difficult market conditions.
How does the First Home Fund work?
The Scottish government will provide first time buyers with a deposit contribution of up to £25,000 for a property that meets their needs and is located where they want to live. It’s open to all first time buyers in Scotland and can be used to buy both new build and existing properties.
The First Home Fund will re-open at 9am on Thursday 1 April for applications due to complete in the financial year 2021-2022.
There's no end date currently in place, but with limited funding, it’s set to go quickly.
If you would like more information or would like to speak to someone regarding applying for the First Home Fund please get in touch with your local Scottish Property Centre branch.
